Narrativas de sororidad entre mujeres racializadas en España: una conversación con Helen Digala y Lucía Asué Mbomío Rubio sobre literatura y activismo digital antirracista

In the context of the III Congreso Internacional de Estudios Literarios y Culturales Afrodescendientes at the University of Alcalá de Henares, Julia moderated a round table discussion with Lucía Asué Mbomío Rubio and Helen Digala. They talked about Lucía’s latest novel “Tierra de la Luz” and the exploitation of migrants in Spain’s agricultural sector, and discussed the importance of networks of solidarity among African women in Spain and the impact of antiracist digital activism.

In another panel, Julia also had the opportunity to present the book “Personas africanas y afrodescendientes en España ayer y hoy: proyecciones y posicionamientos en la literatura, el arte y los medios” that she co-edited with Danae Gallo González in 2024.
